Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience with software development in C or C++ programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms. + 3 years of experience working with low power embedded audio processors. + 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. + 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. + Experience with integration and debugging of complex audio algorithms across heterogenous processor networks. + Experience with audio algorithms. + Experience working with System Software, DSP Software, Audio Systems, or Hardware Validation teams. In this role, you will help our audio algorithm teams deploy and validate new algorithms for Pixel Bud devices. You will work on new technology explorations and be responsible for proof-of-concept prototype deployment as part of the NTI process. Additionally, you will work with Systems Software and Hardware Validation teams to ensure that integration of new features into the production device is successful, and understand/fix bugs during development and in production.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
