Testing Required:
Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.
Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.
Identifies and evaluates business process problems and objectives. Analyzes operational data by collecting, monitoring, and studying business trends and provides recommended actions. Works with business units to develop standards to improve performance. Span of control: 0; individual contributor.
• Oversees multiple projects and priorities to help improve operations
• Handles on-going issues and collaborates with cross functional team to maximize efficiency
• Facilitates cross-functional meetings to gather data, documents and develop goals and milestones
• Identifies process improvements to increase productivity by analyzing alternative solutions and automating applications
• Prepares and creates operational performance reports to ensure maintenance and compliancy policies and procedures are met
• Supports IT projects to help improve system functionality used by field employees
• Supports and/or oversees project plans to ensure tasks are performed to meet deadlines
• Supports purchasing and contract management through compiling, calculating, and/or interpreting data
• Acts as a liaison by providing clear communication between facilities and business units
• Maintains departmental databases and/or presentations documenting special programs/projects related to facilities operations and maintenance budgets
• Supports contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures by ensuring the appropriate documentation is compiled and secured for payment
• Resolves service quality issues, including the administration/electronic filing of documents
• Performs root cause analysis to help resolve discrepancies, service delays, and data issues
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in fleet, facilities, supply chain or business analytical operations
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics and / or Finance.
• Continuous improvement certification

• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to influence and partner with various levels to execute key strategies
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
• Application of continuous improvement tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
